Flaco de Nerja, guitarist and compositor, was born in Bratislava, but since his childhood he lives between Slovakia and Spain,where he has his first contact with Flamenco and starts to dedicate himself to the guitar playing. His first performances in public began in the year 1990 in Bratislava.
In the year 1998, Flaco tours through Colombia and in 1999 he moves to Nerja (Spain), where he performances with other artists throughout Andalusia. During this time Flaco got his artist name. After one year of intensive performances, he starts to tour through Germany and Brazil.
In the year 2000, Flaco de Nerja starts to collaborate with artists in France, where he performances every year (among others in a live show for Radio Cultur France and TF2).
In 2001 he participates at the prestigious guitar contests „Concurso de Córdoba” and „Concurso de Barcelona“, in which he is among the finalists (Prize of Manólo Sanlúcar).
Three years later, in 2004 he participates again at the „Concurso de Córdoba“, once more reaching the final round.
Flaco de Nerja is one of the best guitarists of the new generation. Critics of the Spanish press characterizes his art as a virtuosity of improvisation and praises his own compositions.
Flaco de Nerja presents his music in Brazil, Colombia, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Spain, Israel, Portugal, England, etc.
