Paths, roads, walks. All that is united in the word „paseos“, the title of his new album. It‘s a cycle of compositions that as Flaco himself assures are of very personal meaning. The album is about the streets which flaco has wandered upon in search of himself, the meaning of life and the origin of the mystery named music. They are endless streets. Some were walked upon upright others on all fours. Some led to open doors: “puertas abriertas” like the first song of the album – a lively flamenco tango – is called. Others led to nowhere and were nothing but walks of agony as demonstrated in the heartbreaking “Soléa” named “Duquelas”, a word that doesn’t let itself translate directly. It’s best explained as “enormous suffering” or “ugliness of the world”.
